Your Role

What CareMates Do

Every visit is a little different. Here's what a typical week as a CareMate looks like.

Wellbeing Observation

Notice how each elder is really doing — sleep, appetite, mood, and energy — and share what you see with the family through the Zeraphos app.

Medication Reminders

Ensure elders take the right medications on time. You won't administer medication — you'll be the consistent, caring reminder they need.

Companionship & Conversation

Spend quality time chatting, sharing stories, playing games, or simply keeping elders company at home.

Mobility & Daily Assistance

Help elders with short walks, light exercises, and safe movement around their home.

Errands & Accompaniment

Accompany elders to the bank, pharmacy, or doctor — be the reliable companion their family can't be in person.

Visit Report & Family Update

Log observations, photos, and notes through the Zeraphos app after every visit — giving NRI families real-time peace of mind.

Common Questions

Everything you
need to know

Visits may include medication reminders, companionship, conversation, light mobility support, observation, and logging a visit summary through the Zeraphos app.

Completely flexible. You choose which visits to accept and when. There is no minimum weekly commitment, though reliability matters once you accept a visit.

CareMates are paid for every completed visit. Rates vary by location, and additional bonuses may be available based on visit volume and consistency. Full payout details are shared during onboarding.

If you need to cancel a visit, please notify us as early as possible so we can arrange replacement support for the family. Frequent last-minute cancellations may affect your standing on the platform.

All CareMates complete identity and background verification before their first visit to help ensure the safety and trust of the families we serve.

Before starting, every CareMate completes Zeraphos Training covering observation & reporting, visit logging, family updates, medication reminder protocols, companionship skills, and common in-home care situations.

You are never on your own. Zeraphos support is available during visit hours for medical concerns, difficult situations, or unexpected issues. In emergencies, contact local emergency services first, then notify Zeraphos.

Our team reviews every application. Shortlisted candidates complete a phone interview, followed by a video or in-person interview and onboarding training before receiving visit assignments.
