CareMates are dedicated care professionals who partner with Zeraphos. Each one is carefully selected, trained to our standards, and backed by our coordination team — so your family always has someone reliable showing up at the door.

What happens if my parent has a medical emergency during a visit?

CareMates are trained to respond immediately — calling emergency services, staying with your parent, and notifying you in real time through the app. You'll never be left in the dark. While Zeraphos is not a hospital or emergency service, our protocols ensure your parent is never alone in a crisis.

Does Zeraphos provide clinical treatment or wound care?

CareMates focus on wellness, companionship, and monitoring — not clinical procedures. If your parent needs wound care, physiotherapy, or medical treatment, we coordinate with trusted local professionals so the right help reaches them quickly.

Who is responsible if something goes wrong during a visit?

Is my parent's health data shared with anyone?

Your parent's health data is only shared with your designated family members and, where needed for coordination, with healthcare providers you have authorised. We do not sell or share personal health data with third parties for advertising or commercial purposes. All data is encrypted end-to-end and stored in compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP).

How long does a CareMate visit last?

Each visit is up to 60 minutes, covering vitals, medication reminders, companionship, and a full visit report sent to your dashboard. Subscription plans include a set number of visits per month — 1 with Connect, 2 with Companion, and 4 with Guardian. If your parents need an extra visit in any given month, you can add one for $39.

Guardian at $149/month includes 4 visits per month with 4 parent check-in calls, bi-weekly care reviews, priority scheduling, and third-party care coordination on request. What is a CareMate credit?

A CareMate credit is one in-home visit by a trained CareMate — up to 60 minutes. Each Zeraphos subscription plan includes a set number of credits per month: 1 credit with Connect, 2 with Companion, and 4 with Guardian. Credits can also be used for planned outings such as doctor visits, lab trips, errands, or any other supported activity. Additional credits can be purchased for $39 each.

Can I change or cancel my Zeraphos subscription?

Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time — no long-term contracts. If your parent's needs change, your plan can change with them. Monthly plans can be cancelled before the next billing date. Annual plans are billed once a year at a discounted rate.

What if the CareMate can't make a scheduled visit?

We take reliability seriously. If your assigned CareMate is unavailable, your Care Coordination Manager will arrange a replacement and notify you in advance. You're never left wondering.
